The winter season kicked off on Tuesday with the Blind Pairs. It was an excellent turn out. After a close win in the first round, Alan Turnell and Kev Parsons got stronger as the competition progressed, winning their semi final against Dale Thompson and Sean Crysell, and then the final against Ben Simpson and Wayne Morgan, both 3-0. Ben Simpson and Wayne Morgan beat Guy Ellis and Colin Denyer in the other semi final, that game went down to the final double, both pairs getting a chance at the winning double.
