It was a strong, high‑quality night across all three fixtures on 28 July, with Soton Peepers A, Out of Towners, and Town Central each securing important wins. Peepers showed their usual firepower with big performances from Moule and Hayes, while Out of Towners continued their title push through solid all‑round scoring from Jurd, Doran and Lawes. Town Central produced one of their best nights of the season, sweeping all four singles thanks to Denyer, Collins, Waters, and Smith. Standout individual moments included Steve Ballard’s three 180s, Kev Parsons’ 13 tons and David Moule’s 102 checkout, rounding off a night that tightened the race at the top and gave Town Central a much‑needed lift.

Foreign Legion vs Soton Peepers A

Soton Peepers A delivered another strong performance, taking three of the four singles:

Highlights:

  • Kev Parsons and David Moule hit a 13‑dart leg, the fastest of the night. Kev also hit 13 tons.
  • David Moule posted a 102 outshot.

Out of Towners vs Grand Central

Out of Towners maintained their excellent form, taking three singles wins:

  • Rob Doran 3–2 Dale Thompson
  • Steve Ballard 2–3 John Cost
  • Bryan Lawes 3–2 Richard Smith
  • Andy Jurd 4–1 Mike Berntsen

Highlights:

  • Steve Ballard hit three 180s, the highest of the night, along with 13-dart leg.
  • Andy Jurd added another 10 tons, keeping him near the top of the leaderboard.

Town Central vs Wolversdene Angels

Town Central produced one of their strongest nights of the season, sweeping all four singles:

  • Tony Waters 3–2 Ian Cairns
  • Matty Smith 3–2 Billy Brett
