Soton Peepers A continued their strong form with a 15–11 win over Foreign Legion, keeping them firmly at the top of the table. Out of Towners also won 15–11, recovering from an 11–10 deficit to beat Grand Central in the final game of the night. Town Central recorded the evening’s biggest victory, beating Wolversdene Angels 20–6.
David Moule hit 11 tons tonight, narrowing the gap to four tons. Gareth Wood and Graham Howard both reached double figures with 10 tons each. John Cost, David Moule and Ryan Sillence each hit two 180s, moving Moule two clear of Andy Jurd at the top of the 180s table. Sean Crysell recorded a 158 checkout, although Rob Hayes’ 164 remains unbeaten. Moule also produced two 13-dart legs, but they did not affect the table because he had already recorded an 11-darter earlier in the season.
With two postponed matches yet to be played, it is difficult to predict how the final tables will look. Next week marks the official final game of the season for many teams, followed by the team knockout final a week later.
