Out of Towners were back to winning ways this week having lost in the Team Knockout last week against Andys Boys, which saw the game go down to the final leg, the gallon. This week they took revenge beating Andys Boys 18-8. Town Central recorded the biggest win of the week with a 22-4 win over Queen Charlotte. The Arms kept up their pursuit with a 19-7 win against Daves Railroaders. And Foreign Legion beat Wolves Z 17-9.
Their were five players all hitting double figures in the Tons competition. Kev Parsons lead with 11 and the rest all had 10 each, including Stewart Clackson, Andy Harvey, Andy Jurd and Rob Doran. In the 180’s comp, Andy Jurd, David Moule and Alan Vines all hit 2 maximums in their games, there were a total of 14 across the league. Colin Denyer checkout out 116 and Dexter Batten 100, but no-one came close to Paul Walker’s 160. The Fastest leg of the week came from Andy Jurd, who completed the leg in 13 darts, closely followed by Paul Walker and David Moule on 14 and Colin Denyer on 15. Again, this didn’t come close to the current leader. It is still very close in the Most Legs competition, David Moule and Andy Jurd sharing top spot on 33 for the season, both having only dropped 2 legs.
