The 14th July fixtures produced clear wins for Foreign Legion, Out of Towners and Soton Peepers A each delivering strong all‑round performances. Several players posted standout individual displays, including Andy Jurd, Rob Hayes, David Moule, Kev Parsons, and Roy Stretch.

These results tighten the race at the top, with Out of Towners and Soton Peepers A continuing to look the most complete sides, while Foreign Legion’s depth again proved decisive.

Foreign Legion 15 – 11 Grand Central

Foreign Legion delivered a confident performance, winning three of the four singles and splitting the pairs.

Singles Highlights

  • Kev Parsons beat Mike Berntsen 5–0, hitting 14 tons and a superb 156 outshot.
  • Stewart Clackson edged John Cost 3–2.
  • Roy Stretch impressed with a 4–1 win over Graham Howard, hitting 10 tons and 1×180.

Overall: A strong night for Foreign Legion.

Out of Towners 18 – 8 Town Central

Out of Towners continued their excellent form, winning three singles and both pairs match.

Singles Highlights

  • Rob Doran beat Tony Waters 4–1.
  • Wayne Collins defeated Steve Ballard 4–1.
  • Andy Jurd produced one of the night’s best displays, winning 5–0 with 10 tons and a 104 outshot.
  • James Nicholson won 3–2 over Matty Smith.

Overall: Out of Towners remain one of the most consistent sides, with Jurd again outstanding.

Soton Peepers A 22 – 4 Wolversdene Angels

A dominant performance from Peepers, winning three singles and both pairs matches.

Singles Highlights

  • Rob Hayes won 5–0 with 10 tons and a 110 outshot.
  • Ian Cairns beat Gareth Wood 3–2.
  • David Moule won 5–0 with 8 tons and a 124 outshot.
  • Sam Ellis beat James Brett 4–1.

Overall: Peepers were flawless, with Hayes and Moule delivering elite‑level finishing.
