Week three and Arms A continued their strong start to the season with a 20-6, win over Foreign Legion. That puts Arms A clear at the top by 10 points. It was another close game for the Out of Towners, this time losing to Grand Central 14-12. And Wolves Z and Town Central battled out a draw in their fixture.
From a legs point of view, there are now four players on 10, closely followed by two players who have won nine legs, so it’s all very close. For Most Tons, Steve Ballard currently sits top on 29, closely followed by Sam Ellis on 28 and Andy Harvey on 27. Richard Smith hit 12 tons in a close match against Ballard who hit 10 himself. There was also 10 tons from John Cost. Ellis has moved clear by two in the Most 180s, now on 5 for the season, Ellis and Arron Monk both had 2 maximums this week. Mike Berntsen took out 134 and 106, moving him top of Highest Checkout. Wayne Morgan hit 128 himself. Smith had a 14 darter and Monk a 15 dater. 3 players now sit on 14 in the Fastest Leg competition.
