A win for Grand Central 18-8 over bottom side Daves Railroaders saw them move from 6th to 3rd. A 22-4 win for Arms A against Wolves Z now means they are 32 points ahead of Out of Towners, who themselves beat Town Central 21-5. Next week Arms A have their bye so it will be interesting to see how many points Out of Towners can close the gap by in their match against Daves Railroaders.
15 dart legs from Chris Tanner, Andy Jurd and Rob Doran weren’t enough to match Doran’s current best of 12. 120 was the highest checkout this week from Wayne Collins. There was also 118 from Richard Smith, 115 Ryan Perry and 110 Anthony Matthews. Steve Ballard hit 2 maximums, moving him into joint 3rd, 4 behind current leader Sam Ellis on 7 and 1 behind Stuart Giddings in 2nd. At the top of the Most Tons, Ellis is now tied with Andy Harvey on 54 for the season, after Harvey hit 15 this week. Harvey also has a game in hand over Ellis. There were also double figures for Rob Hayes, Jurd and Ellis, all hitting 10. Ellis still leads Most Legs Won with 25, 4 ahead of of his team mate Hayes on 21. However, with a game in hand, Harvey on 20 should close the gap next week, as could 3 other players all on 17, they are John Cost, Ballard and Jurd.
