Winter 2022-23 – week 14

It’s all change in the league table this week owing to 4 teams playing twice, meaning now there are no games in hand.

The Sausage Party now sit top by 11 points following a 19-7 win over Foreign Legion and beating Five Guys 21-5. Peaky Blinders jump into second with a 22-4 win over Pewsey Boys and 20-6 against Clatford Arms. Out of Towners drop to third despite winning 16-10 against Wolves TNT. Likewise, a 21-5 win over Five Guys didn’t stop Andys Boys dropping to fourth. There were also wins for Grand Central 20-6 at Clatford Arms. Clatford Arms move off the foot of the table having played two matches this week, placing Foreign Legion once again at the bottom and the only team yet to win a match this season. Only 3 points separate the bottom two.

Having caught up on all outstanding matches, this has resulted in significant changes in the individuals tables as well. Kev Parsons now sits top of the Most Legs Won, 1 ahead of Jamie Kelling and 7 ahead of Chas Barstow. Another 12 tons from Andy Harvey wasn’t enough to retain his position at the top of the Most Tons. Jamie Kelling hit a total of 25 tons over two matches this week moving him to top spot by 1; hitting 15 tons in his rescheduled match. There were also 12 tons from Chas Barstow, 11 from Richard Smith and 10 from John Cost and Steve Ballard.

In the Highest Checkout competition, Sam Ellis and Alan Turnell shot-out 164 to share top spot.  Luke Getty’s 12 dart leg wasn’t enough to match Jamie Kelling’s 11 dart leg from earlier in the season.
