There were big wins for Grand Central and Pewsey Boys this week. A draw for Out of Towners against Andys Boys, helped them maintain top spot in the league, but The Sausage Party and Peaky Blinders closed the gap slightly and both teams have games in hand.
Reaching 20 for the season, Chas Barstow added another 3 maximums. Tim Yates, Steve Ballard, Jamie Kelling and Sam Ellis all had a brace. Colin Denyer hit the most Tons with 11, Kev Parsons, Andy Harvey and Guy Ellis all reached double figures with 10. We only had 2 ton plus checkouts this week, that was Sam Ellis with 149 and Colin Denyer with 120. Kev Lockett still sits top with 157. As you know we only record your highest checkout each week, however, Sam Ellis also took out 142 which won’t be logged. There was no change in the fastest leg.
If you look at the the player stats table – http://andoverdarts.uk/players/ – there is barely any difference between Kev Parsons and Chas Barstow at the top, other than 180’s. Although, Kev’s team do have 1 game in hand that will give him 5 more legs to add to his total. This could go down to the wire!
