Andys Boys continued their impressive start to the season with a 20-6 win over Grand Central, keeping them in top spot. Out of Towners moved within 3 points following a 23-3 win against Daves Railroaders. Arms A in third place ensured the top two didn’t move too far ahead of them with a 17-9 win over Five Guys. And the Foreign Legion climbed up the league to fourth place having beaten Town Central 14-12, it went down to the very last game.
Owing to Roy Stretch being a super sub and only playing when needed, he wasn’t able to defend his lead in the Tons. Andy Jurd took advantage hitting 12 on the night taking his total to 20 so far. Rob Hayes also hit double figures with 11, closely followed by Andy Harvey, Colin Denyer, Steve Ballard and Kev Parsons, all hitting 10. John Cost continued where he left off last week, with a brace of maximums, putting him 3 clear at the top of the 180’s table. Graham Howard and Pete Bailey also managed 2 on the night. There was only 1 ton plus checkout, Dale Thompson taking out 105. Tom Smart hit a 14 darter this week, although not beating his previous from last week of 13. Colin Denyer had a 15 dart league. Andy Harvey is yet to drop a leg and sits in first place of the Legs won table, closing followed by Rob Doran, Paul Walker and Arron Monk, all on 9. But it’s way too early to start making predictions.
