What an end to the season. Having played their game in hand, The Arms were 3 points clear of Andys Boys but taking on top team the Out of Towners. If you had asked most teams, they would have predicted The Arms would have dropped to 3rd but that was not to be. The Arms beat Out of Towners 16-10, the same score at Andys Boys beat Wolves Z, so there was no change at the top. Despite losing their last game of the season, the Out of Towners held on to top spot by 14 points. The Foreign Legion beat Town Central 17-9 and in doing so, jumped above them into 4th place. Grand Central finished off with a 21-5 win over Daves Railroaders.
Andy Jurd won the most legs competition by 3 legs, only needing 2 legs in his final match of the season and that is exactly what he did. Andy Harvey and David Moule finished joint 2nd. Andy Harvey hit 167 tons over the season, averaging 10.44 tons per game, to claim the Most Tons competition. He was closely followed by David Moule with 153 and Kev Parsons on 146. Paul Walker claimed the Most 180s comp, hitting 20 in total, an average of 1.43 per game. Sam Ellis was only 5 behind and in 3rd was Andy Jurd on 10. Stuart Giddings 161 checkout was the highest of the season and Tom Smart and Paul Walker shared the Fastest Leg with 11.
In total 66 players participated across 9 teams. There were 3,353 tons and 171 maximums. Andy Harvey won the most games, achieving a 88% win percentage, closely followed by Paul Walker on 86%. But it was Andy Jurd and Paul Walker with the highest legs won percentage, both on 84%.
