The first Les Brant memorial cup has been won by Chas Barstow in a 3 nil win over Darren Large. Chas almost went out to James Nicholson in the Semi-Final, narrowly winning 3-2. Darren beat Simon Coxhead 3-1 in the other Semi-Final.
Les Brant continued playing darts into his 80’s and is sadly missed by the darting community. He and his Team (The Brants) competed in the Tuesday Nights Darts Winter league for several seasons. Known for playing on 19’s, he was a very difficult player to beat and would often hit 171!
Congratulations to Chas on his success, pictured here with his trophy kindly donated by Rob Hayes & Lucy Symmonds.
