The Hotdogs had another convincing win this week beating Pewsey Boys 21-5. This moves them 3 points clear of the Out of Towners who beat Wolves A 18-8. It was a very close match between Peaky Blinders and Grand Central. With one match to go, and in need of only 1 leg, Grand Central managed to secure a 14-12 win, closing the gap to 5 points on Peaky Blinders who sit in 3rd spot.
There was 12 maximums on Tuesday with Chas Barstow hitting 4. This moves Chas back to the top of the 180’s table. Steve Ballard led the way in the tons this week hitting 11. Only two other players managed double figures, they were Andy Mitchell and Stuart Giddings, both hitting 10. Mark Thorne still leads the way with 58 tons so far, Steve is only 2 behind on 56. There were no ton plus checkouts this week, this is a shock considering so many players practice their outshots when warming up for the match. Jamie Kelling had a 13 dart leg and Chas two 15 dart legs, neither managing to equal or better Mark Thorne’s 12 darter. Chas moves 2 legs ahead of Luke Getty in most legs won.
