Winter 2025/26 – week 20

With only 1 week to play it couldn’t be any closer between Out of Towners and Chapmans Arms. This week Chapmans Arms played out a draw with Foreign Legion, meaning they now trail Out of Towners by 4 points. Out of Towners beat Wolves Z 15-11 (played in spare week – 10th March) and Grand Central won against Lupines 23-3.

Kev Parsons extended his lead at the top of the Most Legs competition to 2 legs but David Moule has one game remaining, and with Parsons no more games to play, it looks likely that Moule will regain top spot. A competition that Parsons can’t be challenged is the Most Tons. Another 14 this week means he is now 44 tons ahead of his nearest rival. John Cost managed 10 tons in his game. It is still all to play for in the Most 180s challenge, with Andy Jurd leading by only 2. There were no changes in the Highest Checkouts leaderboard and Cost came close to matching his previous attempt in the Fastest Leg, with a 13-dart leg.

Next week proves to be an exciting week at the Wolversdene Club, with Out of Towners and Chapmans Arms playing on adjacent boards. I’m sure closely monitoring each other as the night progresses.
