Tuesday was the Semi Finals of the Team Knockout. The Sausage Party had a convincing win over Grand Central 21-5 and Peaky Blinders beat Wolves TNT 15-11. The Final will be played on 4th April at a neutral venue (TBC).
As previously advised, The Sausage Party and Grand Central agreed this match would be a double header and the result would also count for the postponed league fixture. Steve Turner added 12 more tons to his total and John Cost 10. Luke Getty hit 3 maximums in his win, 2 of which were hit in 1 leg. Dale Thompson also had a brace of 180’s. In terms of checkouts, Steve Turner hit a 100 out-shot which doesn’t affect the table and Luke Getty a 14 dart leg. Jamie Kelling’s 5-0 win closes the gap on Chas Barstow and Kev Parsons in the Most Legs Won table, now only 1 leg behind.
The win for The Sausage Party moves them into second place in the league, only 6 points behind the Out of Towners but still with a game in hand.
