We are now at the business end of the season and it is still very close at the top of the table, with 3 teams separated by 22 points. The biggest win of the week was from Wolves Z, beating Queen Charlotte 20-6. The Out of Towners won 16-10 against Foreign Legion. Andys Boys closed the gap at the top to 14 points, following their 19-7 win over Daves Railroaders. The Arms also won by the same score, beating Grand Central, and only 8 points behind 2nd.
At the top of Most Legs sits Andy Jurd, 3 clear of Andy Harvey and 4 in front of David Moule. Even Sam Ellis is in touching distance, only 5 legs behind. Andy Harvey has started to pull away in the Most Tons competition, with another 15 this week, meaning he is now 19 tons ahead of David Moule. Reece Bryant recorded 11 and their were 10 tons each for Terry Turner, Rob Hayes and David Moule. Rob Hayes took out 140 this week but Stuart Giddings 161 remains top, with only 2 league fixtures to go. Sam Ellis also had a ton plus checkout with 107. We had 2 Fastest Legs recorded, Rob Doran with 14 and Rob Hayes with a 12 darter, so close to drawing level with Tom Smart and Paul Walker, who both lead with 11. Andy Mitchell and Rob Hayes both had a brace of maximums, but Andy Harvey went 1 better with 3. Paul Walker still leads the Most 180’s competition with 20, 6 clear of Sam Ellis.
