Week 2 saw the start of Wolves Z’s campaign, and they started off very positive, taking a big lead 9-2 after the pairs and the first singles. However Grand Central managed to recover and finished strong, winning the match 16-10. Chapmans Arms beat Town Central 21-5 and Out of Towners 15-11 over Foreign Legion.
In the most legs competition, Roy Stretch sits top winning 9 of his 10 legs played, closely followed by 3 players on 8 and a further 3 players on 7. In the most tons competition, Dave Moule and Mike Martin both hit 11 but 10 from Steve Ballard and Kev Parsons moves Kev top of the table on 24, only 1 ton ahead of Dave Moule. Maximums from 7 separate players means Dave Moule and Andy Jurd both sit top on 2 so far. John Cost checked out 115 in his 12-dart leg and now leads both the Highest out-shot and fastest leg competition. At this point of the season, it’s way too early to draw anything from the tables.
