Winter 2025/26 – week 8

Off the back of their win last week in the cup, Town Central came back to earth with a bump, with a 20-6 loss to Grand Central. This keeps GC in 4th place, 20 points behind the current leaders. Moving into 2nd place is Foreign Legion, following their win over Lupines 18-8, leap frogging Out of Towners, who are now in 3rd place after the top 2 teams played out a draw. Chapmans Arms remain top, 6 points clear.

David Moule was dealt his first defeat of the season, giving the chasing pack a chance to close the gap. Kev Parsons is now only 3 legs behind. 10 Tons from Kev Parsons keeps him at the top of the Tons competition, now 7 tons clear of David Moule. Barry Bowsher and Sam Ellis both also hit 10 tons this week. Rob Hayes had a brace of maximums, throwing him into the mix, but David Moule still leads the Most 180s competition. There are 13 players all with 2 maximums of the leader. A 155 checkout from Barry Bowsher was the highest of the week but it wasn’t enough to match the current leader on 170. Andy Jurd recorded a 15-dart leg, but John Cost and David Moule currently lead on 12.
